– “President Bola Ahmed Tinubu instructed us to complete and deliver all abandoned critical projects around the Niger Delta Region. ”

– We interface directly with the communities and we understand their concerns and profer solutions based on their wants and needs assessment.

– Project HOPE & the Youth Internship Scheme was been merged to become Renewed HOPE Youth and Women Empowerment Scheme.

– Our Team, we do projects based on needs assessment , and this is how we came up with Light up Niger Delta project.

– One of our focus us agriculture as agriculture is sustainable.

– Improving on the lives of Niger Deltans is to carryout projects that directly impact the Livelihood of Niger Deltans.

– “One of the innovations we came up with for our youths, was the database portal ”

– One of the challenge in the past 25 years is the high turnover of leadership. In the past 25 years, NDDC has had 16 MDs this has caused instability.

– “Niger Deltans should be grateful to Mr President for his commitment to ensuring the sustainable development of the Region ”

– “I can assure you that before the end of Mr President’s Tenure, we will complete all abandoned legacy projects ”

– For most of the projects, we adopted Partnership model as its easier to drive projects with Partnership.

– One area we have improved on is the area of monitoring. All our state offices have been equipped with vehicles and other equipments for project monitoring.

– Since we came on board, to ensure our people are not spectators , we ensured that several of the projects are done by local contractors. Quality of jobs are as a result of supervision and we supervise to ensure they meet international standards. Several of the projects we have been commissioning are done by local Contractors.

– Nobody blocks our gates again, as our youths now carryout projects ; roads, solar lights etc. They even understand what it means to pay taxes.

– One of the reforms we did was to engage KPMG, to help check and moderate our SOPs and other documents which we will send to ICPC & EFCC for them to make their input before we real them out.
